As a small events specialist, picnic-style food and beverage is welcome, however catering for more than that is outside of our permit.

A personal & heartfelt history
Protea Events is a shared venture between neighbours. Locally owned and operated in Langwarrin, Helena and neighbour, Gwen decided their properties were too beautiful not to share. They set out on a mission to landscape and style intimate event spaces that would evoke meaningful and connected experiences, without the pretense and costs of an established wedding venue.
Within 12-months, Helena obtained her marriage celebrant license, meanwhile as a pair they tamed shrubs into sculpted topiary and so Protea Events was born.
Designed as a ceremony-only venue, it’s the perfect place to capture the sentiment of marking a milestone, with an intimate selection of guests before going on to celebrate at home or in the many local restaurant hubs, even venturing along the Mornington Peninsula.
